About RTAC
Restoration Temple is an exciting contemporary ministry. Sunday morning services incorporate a casual atmosphere, a blended style of praise and worship music, and relevant teaching. A diverse congregation, the church ministers to all ages and backgrounds, including to families, singles and students.
Restoration Temple began as Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church and was founded by Pastor Bennett Donnell and his wife Jean in December of 1980. The first service was held in a "borrowed" sanctuary and approximately 30 people were in attendance. In 1981 the church affiliated with Faith Christian Fellowship of Tulsa, Oklahoma under the leadership of the late Apostle Buddy Harrison & Mrs. Pat Harrison. It was at that time, the transition was made from Baptist to Non-Denominational.
RTAC is in covenant agreement with Christian Faith Center Ministries led by the late Bishop Mack Timberlake and his wife Pastor Brenda Timberlake. We are also in covenant agreement with New Light Christian Center Church of Houston, Texas, which is pastored by Dr.'s I.V.& Bridget Hilliard.
Our present facility at 5225 Hamilton Avenue is 32,000 sq. ft. and sits on four acres of land which accommodates all the many facets and outreaches of the ministry.
Pastor Bennett and Pastor Jean are natives of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and were married for 40 years. Both were ordained by Faith Christian Fellowship International Church of Tulsa, OK. They have been blessed with two children, Joy and Bennett, Jr. who support their parents' love of the Lord.
